You would buy alpine amps over JL? one question for you.......WHY? . JL audio amps are the most solid amps I have ever sold or installed I have never seen one come in for service. And as for the per formance if you have ever installed on you know. Alpine amps are great but they do not compare to JL.

 

I haven't heard a JL amp, but my friend's Alpine sounds very clean. It sounds (almost) as clean as my amp (PPI PC4400).
Spec-wise, the JL amps look very impressive though! In the end, it's what YOU (the buyer) finds what sound suits you!

Hey lets all JL bash! I've got JL tweets, JL 6x9's, JL 6.5's, JL 12W3V2-D4's(2 12 inch subs), JL 500/1 amp(for the subs) and a 300/4 amp(for the rest) I have seen heard only 1 system in my town as loud and clean as mine! My frend has a JL 13.6 inch W7 with two 1000/1 JL amp goin to it! Ya thats right these speakers are warantied up to 2000 wats RMS! Now what kind of **** talking do you have left?!
