Default Help with getting good speakers

hi i got 2003 accord 4 dr i'm looking to upgrade my speakers with wich i should go i need names i need 6X9 please help me

depending on budget.. pioneer speakers are a good start. if you have more money to play with infinity or mb quart speakers.. might also consider throwing a 4 channel amp in

:eh: pioneers would be a downgrade IMO

i'm getting a basslink 2 because i want to keep my trunk space and i was thinking about infinity 2 which model i should get

hey i just got a 2003 accord myself, i have bought a pair of eclipse 6x9s and a pair of focal component speakers for the front an eclipse 4 channel amp they sound great, only problem now is i have to get them intalled by a shop, thanks to honda they make installing yourself impossible let alone some shops i have found really dont even know how to go about install,,if you know how to do it yourself please let me know

How do you know what they sound like in the car with the OEM deck, if they're not installed?

The OEM deck does put out good sound. It does, however, need some more power to run good aftermarket speakers. Polk Audio, Infinity or JBL and Boston Acoustics are some VERY GOOD upgrades... although they should have more power going to them to get the best results from them.

I HIGHLY suggest adding a good 4 channel amp (around 50x4 RMS). If you want to stick with infinity, get their Kappa series... but only if you're running an amp. Same thing with Polk db. You can use the deck power to run aftermarket speakers, if you cant afford an amp at first... but your volume and sound quality will suffer. Personally, I would let the basslink wait (unless you have the $$)
