Default Problem-Electrical...Never heard of this before

Here's the problem...5th gen akkord

Radiator hose blew in the evening...fine...gotta replace it tomorrow...and flush out the coolant system probably while I'm at it...but this problem occured tonight after i brought my car home...

the real problem is this...I turn off my car...key is pulled out of the ignition...turbo timer off...parking lights off...even turn the dome light to off...BUT my A/F Guage LED is on and my LED for the AC area on...not the backlits, but the LED above where you can adjust where the air blows out from...NOTE: only the one that is depressed is on (backlits come on /w the parking lights)...I can even turn on my FAN if i switch it from 1-4...and this is all with my car totally turned off...there is no accessory power (radio doesn't work)...

when the hose blew and the fluids got everywhere is the only thing that I can think of that happened today...havent touched my car anywhere else and this has NEVER happened before until tonight...

if there was a ground out or a short..there would be no power.....im totally lost right now..and its 3am..i juss pulled the positive off the battery even tho the LEDs dun drain much of battery....

Your car has two accessory. First and Second. One is sticking. The Radio and A/C are on seperate circuts that's why your radio doesn't work and your A/C does. Your A/F is also most likely on the same circut as the A/C.

I would disconnect the power source to your Turbo timer since it maybe one of the turbo timers relays that are stuck feeding power to the accessory circut.

If the problem persist with the power to the Turbo timers relays out disconnect the ignition switch. They do go bad. I had my ignition switch go bad and a similar problem happened.

when the turbo timer went off before...........my AC power would go off...so it could be that....ill hafta check it........

its not my ignition switch..i pulled the fuse for it and its still on...probably bad turbo timer is what im thinking...but how would a blown radiator hose cause that..or is it juss a coincidence.....but its time to trace my turbo timer....

I'd just consider it a coincidence.

What fuse did you pull for the ignition switch? The ignition switch gets it's power from a heavy gauge wire from the main distribution box under the hood. It's actually where the whole dash gets it's power from. It is fused but if you unpluged it then the whole dash goes dead so the A/C couldn't still get power unless you're feeding it from a source under the hood. So I don't see how you can disconnect the power to the switch and still have power on the dash. So what did you disconnect?

theres a fuse in the fuse box udner the hood that says ignition switch...its a 50 amp fuse that required to 2 screws to pull out....it was still on after I pulled it out.....

but the problem fixed itself after i drove around my car....i think there was just moisture in a relay or something and after it dried up the problem went away....
