On 4cylinder Gen6 Accords the battery is not straight back from the access holes. The holes are on the oppisite site of the battery. Gen6 V6 battery driver side on 4cyl its passenger side either way access hole is on driver side.

Yes, you can punture the gromet or pull it out and order one for running wires through the wall from your honda dealer.

On my 5th gen (94) all of the battery wires go from the right side of the engine compartment where the battery is, to the left drivers side to go through the fire wall. Puncturing the rubber thing is real easy. The connector on my wire that i was putting through had a hole so i shoved a small nail in it. Then with the help of a friend, i just shoved it through the rubber thing being careful not to puncture the other wires. Real easy like i said before.

ok, i plugged my reverse indiglo's into this upper right hole. Can I just use this hole for anything i want to run power with? meaning, if i wanted something else powered in my interior, could i just add another wire to that hole? would it cause problems?

connect it at that screw in the under hood fuse box where the batterys powercable is screwed down, just loosen the screw and use a eyehole connecotr or wrapb the wire around the screw and tighten in. then use a coat hanger to poke a hole in that rubber seal in the fire wall, then wrap your wire to the coat hanger and push it thru.

Does anyone read the posts earlier on? Why do I bother

Run power from the battery along the lower radiator core supports back up the driver side fender well. In the firewall, just above the accelerator and brake pedal is a small plastic gromet for the fog light kit to use. Remove this gromet and get or make a new one to go around you power wire. run it into the interior this way. Once inside you can run it behind the dash anywhere. For a picture look at the Handa-accessories web site they have foglight PDF you can download that illistates the whole and may even include a honda gromet part number for you to order one.

p.s.
Yon can also backtrack the power from the battery along the intake tube of the intake and run along the back of the firewall and go into the access hole that way.

The wire size is going to depend on what you are running. Amps, lights, etc. Your stereo shop should be able to help you. You might want to run just a tad bigger incase your needs expand latter on you won't need to re-run the wire. However the heavier you make the wire the less flexiability you will have on how to run it since it won't bend well. In addition the extra wire will place additional resistance on the power going into it causeing less power to flow efficiently. But that should be of little concern in this circumstance.
