I just finished 8 years of school. I'm finally a physician. Guess what? I plan on rolling in for the next 3-4 years my used 94 accord. Guess what I've been holding my load for years now, waiting (and still sleeplessly waiting, getting reamed, chewed out and abused (residency sux balls!)) to get the cars of my dreams, but I won't compromise my security for those dreams. I just think you are, but hey if you can...good luck!

All that drama is sad but true...
Like I said, it's just a dream of mine to have a show car. Ever since I was a little girl I wanted to buy a car and modify it so no one else has the same. Something to call my own...
Inheritance? For a house? I'm not being rude either, I just don't understand what you mean? Oh, I failed to mention, since I was 16, I have been saving for a house in a mutual fund and has a much higher percentage than a bank.

Those are beautiful. Good suggestion...They look great on that car, but do you think it would look okay on the accord, because the body style is different?? I wish there was a program where you could see what it looks like to change out the tail lights...
I would have to get the tail lights from the dealer, right?? I wonder how much those would be...
oh, and I have a sedan in case anyone was wondering...

I wasn't trying to be rude, I'm just saying don't be so sensitive to other's comments. If you ask for opinions, you'll get some. Odds are, you'll get some opinions that you don't want to hear. It's just the internet, no big deal.

I just can't see spending all that money on show car stuff. That's just me. That's my opinion. And like eclypse and vtecinside said, if you do end up doing a conversion, I'd so something other than IS300. The TSX ones might be cool like mentioned above.

Hey, sorry man. I'm sorry for being bitchy...I guess I'm a little stressed at work, that's all...hope you understand, if you don't, that's cool also.
and yes i do accept construcitve criticism, but i can't see why people keep asking why i'm wasting my money. the way i look at it is, this is what i have always wanted. it is a big deal to me. it is what i want to do and no one is supporting me...i don't know, maybe I'm just moody...:sad:

I hear you, Noel! I just finished 10 years of school (4 undergrad, 6 PhD), but I'm sure the hell my doctoral committee put me through was nothing compared to the residency horror stories I've heard from friends. Anyway, you and I both know what it's like to live on basically nothing from month to month, essentially just getting by in the same years that all our friends from undergrad are working at good-paying jobs and wondering why we are always begging out of weekend trips and the like. But you and I both know that we sacrificed for a reason, and now that we're out of school we can finally start treating ourselves right and chasing some of our dreams! I have to admit it, that's why I got rid of the seven-year old car I was driving and treated myself to my new 03 Accord Coupe, I felt I'd earned at least that much. Well, congrats on the M.D. and good luck!
