Default Questions about ...

Im gonna get my Generic Intake and my friend told me to get the AEM. I KNOW that the AEM is way better but its $200 So I was wondering if u guys could tell me whts da difference between the two of them and if theres any risk with da Generic.

Also You might all know that the Accord (mine its a 2002) has that orange stripe under the headlights that really bugs. So here goes my Q: somebody told me theres a way to cover it with some kinda special tape? its that true???

thankz for taking ur time!!!

What makes AEM better is:

1. material used to build (keeps air cooler)

2. Mandrel bent tubing, the bends and overall shape of the intake are made SPECIFICALLY for each car, in order to attain maximum horsepower gains throughout the power curve of the car.

On the headlights, as mentioned above, just take the reflector out, looks much better than covered in my opinion.

As a temporary solution, I covered up my amber strip with a black vinyl strip (my car's black). Looks clean during the day. At night, there's some amber that shines through, but nothing that makes it look that gross. I can deal until I buy black housing clears. Making a one piece vinyl strip is kinda tough tho, cuz the headlight curves. Mebbe one day i'll scan it so that other people can use it as a model to trace against. wahteverz.
