If you have an automatic, a high idle is going to put a lot more strain on your tranny as well.
Where can I buy the seafoam at??? :hsdunno: Also my dad told me something about cleaning with a carb cleaner is that the same thing or is that different cleaning. Thank you for your help.
I was thinking it depends how cold it is outside also.
right now mine idles a little more than 1000 when cold and once its warm it goes down to 500. In the winter when is reallly cold like 15F and lower the car idles like at 1500-1700.
