DJ Scotty, yah i consider 39 K fairly new, my 03 already has 15K. Seriously, my buddy's car is in real good condition, and he drives its his daily driver. But he's a bitch, maybe thats why his car is in such good condition...
btw. At 39 K, everything should still be intact......

And your car must suck, because my V6 is pretty damn fast. Torque isn't plentiful but it's enough.
I dont think the shocks are blown...the car isnt THAT loose....and I guess my car must "suck" because off the line, this car has NO BALLS...I dont know how you define suck, but my car, handicapped by the automatic, is LETHARGIC off the line---the tach seems to spin but the car sometimes doesnt lurch forward upon throttle; how do you explain that?

If you are getting frustrated, then sell it, someone will buy it...

I have a 98 Accord cpe 5 spd...my only real complaint is the suspension but I think now that I've had the car for a year and compared with the weaker engine but better suspension 86 Prelude Si I had, my car feels, meh ok but not great. I would think that a i4 automatic would be just boring...I still think it's a great car, looks good but it does not have any excitement at all.
Of course I Am REALLY trying to not sell it and get a RSX (test drove RSX-S Saturday..now that's what I'm talking about)

All automatic cars that don't have 300 ft-lb of torque are lethargic off the line unless you induce wheelspin from a stop.

And, aside from performing a hairy-ass "Neutral Drop," how do YOU suggest going about inducing wheelspin? And, another question, if this is true about automatics, what makes your automatic V6 coupe so "fast" as you say?

I timed my AV6 7.4 seconds 0-60 IN THE RAIN and WITH SNOW TIRES. That's fast for a 3100 pound family car.

I don't do neutral drops. With winter tires or all seasonal tires you can just floor it from a stop and induce wheelspin (lots of it for my car), but with my summer tires I do NOT wheelspin. $600 is a bit pricey to be burning rubber at every stop light.

My Accord is fast. And I came from an RSX Type-S. I don't know what you came from. Maybe you're just hella paranoid...have you tried driving any other 98-02 V6 Coupes to compare your car with?

If you think that was something, try the new 6 speed 2003 Accord. It's got to be the fastest Honda product except for the CL and NSX. And maybe the TL but I don't know the numbers for the 260-hp version.
Yeah my brakes sucked too, to the point where the brake shoe fell off last Friday!! Oops! But I had all the parts in my car ready to do the brake job, and lemme tell you new rotors, pads, brake lines and fluid make a helluva difference for this bad boy. I mean you can approach a stop light @ 60 mph and stop like it's nothing, no skidding, no startling sounds. Of course when I do that I get scared that the brakes might go out and I hit something so I save that for emergency braking now!
Butif you don't like your Accord you can alway ssell it and get a better car. But the suggestions I saw listed here, I think you should do those as well and rev that baby up and let it know who's the boss every once in a while, @ least once a week. Be responsible but have fun @ the same time...life is too short to live driving in the right lane only.
