Today I was in third gear coming to s stop sign. and with out thinking I went to third to second and didn't use the clutch. I was like what the hell, but there was no smell or noise what so ever. It was cool but I won't be doing that again. trannies cost too much.

alot of big companies govern their trucks so you don't speed in them............kinda dangerous. can you imagine a rig behind you weighing up to 40 tons going 70-90 miles per hour and you slam your breaks, and we need about 3 football field lengths to stop? that's why alot of trucks jack knife, kuz of people slamming they breaks and not realizing they're jeopardizing thier lives

but slower than the speed limit.....they always try to pass when i'm around them seems like....one is doing 60 and the other is doing 60.000001mph....eventually it will get around, but after 40 miles, CMON.......we were told it was gas conservation reasons that they went with 60-whatever it was instead of the interstate speed limit

speaking of drag racing rigs...... did anybody see the ESPN special on 18 wheelers? they had this one guy that had 2 diesel motors and he was running mid 13s in the quater mile!!! it was pretty crazy, but they also had normal rigs that ran like 26 sec 1/4miles
