Default Has anybody here ever changed their fuel filter???

I've got a 96 ex and its time to change that fawker.....its in a tight tight spot. I showed my car to some bozo mechanics and they all want like 200 dollas to change a lil 15 filter. what tools/steps should i take?

Extensions, swivel sockets, air tools, patience, gloves, lots of light. It's an ass to get, it's easier if you can get it from below like on a lift like I did. Be careful you don't get gas in your armpit, that shyt burns!!!

I think its either a 14mm or 17mm crows foot socket is what you need to be able to get to the bottom bolt.

I ended up taking mine to Honda. I bought the fitler from the auto parts store (Fram Brand), and they installed it for like $30.

Man that things a biatch and my bottom one was on their so tight I couldnt get the sucker off so had to pay for it errr.
