I belive the car really needs more power. 200HP. The Golf R32 has 240 and it is smaller than the TSX. Even the other cars that the TSX is supposed to compete with all of more power

I think the TSX should compete with the base level sport/luxury sedan such as Bmw 325i, Audi A4, Lexus IS300, mercedes C 230K sedan / C 240, etc. Out of those all, I think the TSX has the most HP except the IS300 (215 vs 200). Although I personanly won't choose the TSX when I'm in the market for one of these cars.

Actually there's a review on the UK accord aka Acura TSX on the Automotive news and rumors forum. Although there are some differences with the US version.

Son, you have not done any research have you? The Acura TSX directly competes with these:

Acura TSX - 200hp (~$25,300)
Audi 1.8t - 170hp ($25,610)
BMW 325i - 184hp ($28,495)
Jaguar X-Type 2.5L - 192hp ($29,950)
MB C240 - 168hp ($30,565)
Saab 9-3 Linear - 175hp ($26,525)
Volvo S40 - 170hp ($24,560)

They all meet at least 1 of 2 criteria for a premium brand.

1. inline4 or small displacment 6 (<3.0L)
2. starts well under $30k

Lookie there, TSX is one of the leader of the pack in power.

The Mazda 6 isn't a premium nameplate.

Are dealers gouging or just selling them for sticker?
