I'm trying to work something out to get my girl into one. She's driving a 98 Civic EX w/ almost 100K on it.

Why would you want to buy this car? It seems to be a copy of the Accord. I mean the TL, or is it the four door Integra. It seems to really lack character

Sadly, you're wrong in all three aspects. This is not a four door RSX...it doesn't share anything except horsepower numbers and transmission gears with the RSX. This car has nothing to do with the TL, it is much smaller (read: sportier), quicker, and will cost abvout 5 grand less as the TL moves slightly upmarket. This is based off the European/Japanese Accord, which is smaller (read: sportier) than the American Accord. You would buy this car because you want a feature laden, sporty, sharp looking, and affordable entry level luxury vehicle. As for charachter...it all depends on your definition of charachter. Does charachter equal little nuances that annoy you?

????????? Are you kidding me, which car is the TSX based on? That should answer your question for you. Also, why would you want this car, if you could have a two door Honda Accord. All of the Honda and Acura cars cross over each other. The other day I mistook a TL for an Accord. This is not to put down their reliablity, but all of their cars, especially sedans, all look alike. And they all lack character!!!

The car is based on the European/Japanese Honda Accord. Which is completely different from the USDM Accord. Some people like 4 doors over 2...you fall off the melon truck yesterday or what? Just because it isn't a car for you doesn't mean that it isn't a damn good car.

Exactly!!! For me it is a nice, sportier, well equiped alternative to the new Accord with a longer warranty and road side assistance. In addition, I like the styling MUCH better than the new Accords and I won't see 100 + a day too.
