From what the dealer tells me, there isn't a TSX-S planned.

I'm not saying they're right. I'm just saying what they're saying.

If we're to get my girlfriend into one, it would be silly to hold out until fall for a yet unannounced vehicle.

It all depends on your situation, but for your girlfriend it would be stupid. If it comes out at all, it'll be later than fall IMO..more likely that spring or the fall after that.

Yea, I'm not expecting an S model. Where could they go with it and have it fit? Not saying I wouldn't mind one though.

Good point...but Acura has said that they would like Type-S to be a moniker on ever single Acura car, and a rep even said that the MDX is a possibility I suppose sportier 17" wheels and tires, a limited slip, a few more gizmos, 220-230HP...I really have no idea. I think it all depends on how it sells. I'm probably 50/50 on whether or not there will be a Type-S in the coming couple years.

I am planning to buy the TSX base since I don't want to wait for god knows how long for the Type-S.

The TSX-S is going to be released at the same time as the TSX-P. The S is going to have a 6-spd manual w/ no word on hp numbers yet. The Premium is going to have a 5-spd auto w/ sequential sportshift and 200hp. Go pick up a brochure, we already have them available.
