Default Lx to Ex changeover

I have a 94 Lx coupe that I was wanting to change to Vtec. Does anyone know anything about the head swap? The only info I can find is the placement difference of the oil control orifice. Does anyone know if the Vtec head will work with the B2 block? I know that I have to wire the Vtec solenoid but hopefully that won't be a big deal. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

It won't be worth the money just for VTEC...SOHC VTEC does not do all that much, especially in a low tune motor like the Accord's

What should I do to this engine then to get more power. I had been told that you have more options with the Vtec

What do you have done?

H22 is an option if you have 3k

if you just want a lil extra power, I'd add a Cold Air Intake, Exhaust, and Header (since the lx is f'in restricted). This should add a little hp to ur lx..)..

Actually, you don't. You have more options with a better engine, such as the H22A from a Prelude (195-220HP, depending on trim). And it's VTEC bro, it stands for Variable valve Timing with Lift Electronic Control, not some worthless acronym VTEC isn't the cure for cancer, especially on single overhead cam engines like yours. You'd be far better served either getting forced induction (turbocharger/supercharger) or a new engine. If you don't wanna spend that much (3 grand plus), get basic bolt ons...cold air intake, a header, and a cat back exhaust (catylitic converter to the tailpipes). That'll run you a grand or a little more if you buy quality stuff. Basically though, you have an Accord...a family car with a family engine.

Sorry man I didn't mean to not capitalize all the letters. I thought we were past obviousness. I know that the H22 is a better motor but I don't really want to spend the three thousand to do that when if I want to boost it I am going to have to change my H22 compression. I have all the standard bolt-ons but that isn't curing my hunger for power. I just bought a 2.2 VTEC head that had been ported and polished and I want to go from there. So like I was saying before does anyone have any info on the VTEC head changeover?
Thanks

There is no 220 HP H22A that came in a prelude(excluding Type-S). The only 220 HP Honda engine like that is the F20B, and I do not necessarily know if thats totally true.

Woah, you are trying to school people on that you know what VTEC means? I bet you thought the JDM Prelude engine has 220 HP. And that JDM is TIZIGHT y0

DO not do the head swap, it's not worth it. If you want to go fast in an accord, buy a 2003 V6 6 speed, or swap a h22a.

Having VTEC is not the best thing in the world, unless you have a h22a, or b16-18blah blah blah. It's cool to hear the pop on my h22a accord

b2 block? U mean the b20 block? that is the CR-VTEC Block, and no it wont.
