Default rotors

I need some help. I need some rotors bad, I was originally going to get some bembro cross drilled/ slotted rotors but someone told me that cross drilled is a horrible way to go due to the chance of them cracking. So i have decided to go just slotted which is cheaper if I may say so.I need some opinion on some power slot rotors. Since those are the ones I am thinking about getting.

wow.... that's the exact opposite of what i've read in reviews of different rotors. i've heard that slotted is bad because they tend to warp and that drilled is the way to go.

I have PowerSlot rotors right now and I have no problems with them yet. I haven't even noticed the brake dust like ppl said I were to expect.

it is true that the cross-drilled rotors hav chance of cracking. if slotted rotors had problems then why do CART/F1 cars use them solely; their rotors are not drilled, maybe dimpled. AEM knows this & are slowly offering slotted 1-piece rotors. PowerSlot are good OEM replacements, even Neuspeed has them. check www.tirerack.com in their "brakes" section.

you also have to remember that CART/F1 cars don't reuse those over and over like we do either. they're on the car for one race, not 100,000-200,000 miles.

the real question here is, does anyone have any horror stories about slotted or drilled rotors? i personally don't think it'll make that big of a difference either way unless youre autoXing or something like that with your accord. just a thought.

If your talking about stock sized drilled/ slotted rotors don't waste your money. This has been beaten to death and if you search you will fine tons of info and I don't feel like explaining why they are useless.

Your best bet is Brembo blanks with some good pads like AEM.

If you want to spend more than get 95-97 V6 or wagon rotors and calipers.

Dont mess around with crossdrilled or slotted, you'll just regret it. Either stick with OEM or go big brakes

Just go with some brembo blanks. No pains, worries, or controversies. The bigger diameter rotors look very clean if equipped with some nice 18"s

i have power slots on my 96 wagon and on both my supra's and have experinced no problems. Ialso use the supra's to race on road courses so they rotors can take the abuse. But any rotor will warp if you drive through water a lot or every time you go to wash your car the brakes are hot.
