it is true that the cross-drilled rotors hav chance of cracking. if slotted rotors had problems then why do CART/F1 cars use them solely; their rotors are not drilled, maybe dimpled. AEM knows this & are slowly offering slotted 1-piece rotors. PowerSlot are good OEM replacements, even Neuspeed has them. check www.tirerack.com in their "brakes" section.
you also have to remember that CART/F1 cars don't reuse those over and over like we do either. they're on the car for one race, not 100,000-200,000 miles.
the real question here is, does anyone have any horror stories about slotted or drilled rotors? i personally don't think it'll make that big of a difference either way unless youre autoXing or something like that with your accord. just a thought.
