it is true that the cross-drilled rotors hav chance of cracking. if slotted rotors had problems then why do CART/F1 cars use them solely; their rotors are not drilled, maybe dimpled. AEM knows this & are slowly offering slotted 1-piece rotors. PowerSlot are good OEM replacements, even Neuspeed has them. check www.tirerack.com in their "brakes" section.
