brake pad suggestion
I am using AEM/Nissin pads and they are running fine. They are kinda loud but if you apply enough anti-squeal compound, that problem will go away. Other than that, I really don't notice a difference in braking.
I have AEM pads up front, they work nice I think they grab bit more on hard stops. Definetly a nice pad for the price and for daily driving. I'm not sure it's worth putting them in the rear though since most of the braking is upfront, I just kept my Wagner pads in the rear since they were fine.
If these pads squeek it's cause the installer didn't install them right.

the fronts usually don't have a problem with squeaking.. the rear ones are usually the problem if you're using high performance pads...
also, it's best to use the same pads all around. the factory balanced the brakes out, when you change the different friction settings, you can actually harm your braking performance.

I would think that kind of difference would only be noticeable if you have small stock brakes in the rear and some huge brake upgrade up front.

whichever end wears out quicker has no relevance to brand. also, however people want to set up their brake pads is fine. i'm not saying it's a rule. i'm just giving a recommendation.
example: if you want to put michelin pilot sport on your left front wheel, yokohama parada on your right front wheel, dunlop w-10 on your left rear wheel, and goodyear aquatread on your right rear wheel, it's your car, do as you wish.. you'll still be able to get to your destination.. but i would prefer to have the same tire on all 4 wheels..
...and no, even with the same tires, they don't wear evenly...
