hmmm I read the thread and well there are plenty of answers there:

You can look on ebay for damaged audi or bmw HID headlights... get them and pull the projector out of them, and transplant it into your cars headlights... that way you will get the proper output on the road, and no glare for other drivers.
Given everything you wrote, I agree with USC, and say your best option is a plug and play kit rather than mess with what you have which is right now unsafe for you and everyone else on the road around you.
aftermarket projectors are usually H3 bulbs. they're about the size of a peanut. you'll never be able to squeeze a HID bulb in there properly without cutting it up. besides, the "bad things" you've heard about aftermarket projectors are all true. so why bother screwing things up even more. they're for show only, and function like crap.

you're still in denial about the HID's. only way to do this right is to spend a good chunk of change, which you weren't willing to in the first place or else you wouldn't have ghetto-rigged salvaged Audi HID's to begin with. a number of solutions have been proposed already.

Now if you took the time to READ you would have seen that options were given but you seem to be blind or something.

Default why must you guys make it so hard for yourself

you wanna do it the "cheap" way its gonna blind people regardless and you will get hi-beamed and maybe even get the "bird" if you wanna do it the right way then you would have to retrofit it or replace all the matching hid components to prevent glare just like usc said....either you listen to his ideal suggestions or dont say anything b/c you all seem to wanna do it the cheap way with stolen hids that will attract cops and blind people

if there are no more comments since this should answer all questions i think this post should be locked *mods*

thanks

I've had 4300K 9006 D2R HID for quite a while, I've been highbeamed ONCE, and that was on a mountain road in the middle of nowhere, the hick probably didn't understand what HID was. I can definately tell the difference between a stock accord and mine, and in the rain?? OMFG HID is wonderful, I can see wonderfully. best $375 I 've spent on my car(and I've spent a lot) All you have to do is aim them down a bit the d2r have a decent cutoff.

The best looking HID conversions I've seen to date are the one's See_Fu does. If I wasn't handing my accord down to my wife I'd seriously consider getting his ECE upgrade, the absolute best pattern I've ever seen. check the gallery out on his site http://www.illusion-lighting.com/
