Goodbye Honda
1) Little faster (but not noticeably so IMO)
2) Better handling/feels more solid
And is worse on the following IMO:
1) Shift action
2) Interior design (:ugh

3) Ergonomics
4) Gas mileage
5) Overall "feel" - steering/shifter/clutch is more vague IMO
6) Cupholders - stupid I know but they're A LOT cheaper. And they removed the door cupholders!
Doesn't the new Accord (EX) have actice noise cancellation otherwise abbreviated as ANC? This is an intricate system that uses various microphones throughout the cabin that tells the computer to send a sound wave using the speakers with the opposite trough and crest so as to cancel out certain pitches throughout the cabin (low pitches I think i.e. road noise), it basically just tricks the ear into not hearing some unnecessary noise. I personally have not test driven the new Accord but from the expert reviews that I've read, they claim road noise is subdued a bit more than in the 7th generation model. While the road noise can be fixed with better tires or added sound insulation, the one thing I will accuse Honda for not treating is the isolation of the engine, such as engine vibration at idle and/or cruising. Honda needs to wake up and realize that not everybody who buys a Honda wants to feel particularly that connected to the road, I mean sharp steering and handling are key, but I think most of us can do without the road noise or vibrations. I mean isn't Honda known for being almost like a poor man's BMW, so why can't Honda get the noise/vibration issue under control?

I think now would be the absolute worst time to buy into toyota... they're suffering from major growing pains trying to keep up to being the #1 manufacturer now, and honestly, I think they're overrated - as far as I know, honda makes more reliable cars... Just look @ how the bottom has dropped out as far as quality goes in their new models... Everyone else is working to improve quality, but toyota's is slipping considerably, not to mention all the b.s. that went on with the oil sludge issue and them screwing loyal customers...

Once I drove the Camry on the same road (the dealers are next to each other) the difference was unbelievable. I could actually hold a conversation with the person sitting next to me without yelling.
Don't get me wrong. I'm still a Honda man...but not for the next three years when I trade in again. Then, I will road test each again and buy the one that's quiet.
Actually, it is standard on all EX models, regardless of the drivetrain. I know that the Accord hybrid had ANC that activated when changing from 6 to 3 cylinders. IDK when the system is actually activated on the new Accords being that the 4 cylinder doesn't shut off any cylinders, so there would be no reason for ANC to be used for that kind of situation, but perhaps it's used when shifting from gear to gear or at idle. Well anyway, I suppose Honda will always be more sport orientated while the Camry will be tuned for luxury, even if that does mean that the Accord will have more road noise and engine presence as opposed the the Camry (road and engine isolation was a huge deal for Toyota when it came to building the new Camry). Hopefully Honda will put some more sound deadening or use more effective material for the MMC (Honda did use a different type of lightweight sound deadening that was more effective for the 2006-07 models in comparison to the 2003-05 Accords).

I hope the noise cancellation feature is optional or can be turned off.
Bose uses a similar feature in some of their headphones and they're running into problems with people getting dizzy or sick from the noise canceling. I don't think it's widespread but damn, it sucks if you're in that 1%.

Sad to hear someone get that animated for a road noise. Good thing you didn't joined the military and sent to the middle east.
nmm in my area I see the coupe and sedan all over. There is two 08 coupe on my block, both black and one white sedan next door.
