Yeah, get rid of the stock system and get an aftermarket changer. No, not really. I have no idea bro, good luck with that. Hopefully someone else has a good tip for ya. You could try unconnecting the cables to the battery, thus resetting the stereo. But make sure you have the code to unlock it if you try that. I've never been a fan of any stock system I've come across. Even the JBL system with the built in rear sub in my bosses new Camry sucks compared to my $139 pioneer player and 5 year old polk 5 1/4's and 6x9's from my old accord that I paid about $300 on Crutchfield half a decade ago. I got rid of the player in mine (single CD mind you, not the changer), sold it on eBay and had more than enough for a good pioneer player. I just don't dig stock.

Its most likely the problem with your disk. sometimes if you insert bad cd disk, it reads ERR. Try unplug the battery and reset the stereo. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE RESET CODE BEFORE YOU UNPLUG YOUR BATTERY. And please let us know the result of your problem.

thanks
Bill.

It's from an 01 and it's still going, that's a decently long life for a factory radio. I'd ditch it and go aftermarket for the greater compatibility with things like iPods, Sat Radio, Burnable Media, etc. A lot of times with factory stuff, there's no hope and it will cost a small fortune to fix it.

Do you use home made CD's with label's? Honda is finding a lot
of CD errors are caused by these disc, too wide for changer or
the labels are sticking up.
