I have a 94 LX...It's making the same damn sound. I ride with my music up whenever someones in the car with me....Im embarrassed by it. Cars been in the family for 11 years. Neither my ma or me drove the car rough. It has 140k miles on it and never had any problems with it until this.

Does the oil light come on before you start the engine? It should come on when you turn the key to "run".

And yes, once again, my PC crashed. Yard sale.

lol. yea all of the lights come on when its in ON position. and none of them come on when im driving. considering the leakage, its behind the exhaust manifold ( most likely the head gasket leaking maybe?), dist. area (dist. o-ring maybe?), oil pan (oil pan gasket maybe?).

Have you isolated the noise to the valvetrain and are you pretty sure thats where it is? Is it only on acceleration or all the time you hear the noise?

it pretty loud at beginning of cold starts but then quiets a little but not alot. when driving, the higher the RPM, the louder it gets. alot of clicking/tapping noise. the noise can be replicated if you click your mouse very fast.

Have you removed the valve cover and inspected the clearances between the rocker arm and the top of the valve? By the way is this an F22 probably B engine?

earlier post. yea its a F22B2 engine.
