Hi

We bought a 5spd '94 LX coupe last week. The car is a blast to drive, except that the check-engine light comes On soon after the car has been driving. It just stays On. The abs light is On also. I have tried pulling the ecu fuse but it didn't help. Autozone said they didn't have the adapter to pull code from a '94. It has to be '95 and up before they can do it.

Is there a way I can pull this code myself? Do I need special tools/equipment? If I can diagnose the problem, I think I can fix it. But this car is new to me. I drive a G2 Legend. Please help. Thanks!

PS. What are the good and bad of owning a '94 2dr lx? Is there anything we need to know or watch for??

 

my friends site has info as to how to diagnose these lights... heres the link click on "Rescources".

Its for a 97 CL, but everything is the same.

And BTW... theres no real difference between the 94 and 95 Accord.
