The make you laugh$$$ Honda tool and the Napa tool, which is made by a company called Tool-Aid part no. TA-61900. I've still got one contact left in Ohio that works at a Honda dealer I'll see if he can hook me up for much less, else I'll purchase said other tool.
Tommorow I'm flushing the brake the system, I'll check all the joints for wear then. And decide if I'll even swap the new SPC kit in or go back to stock and install the Ingalls lower kits.
New ball joint boots can be had from Honda for $2.50 + another $3.90 for the retainer clip. The tool needed to installt he clips is $80 bucks, sigh.......I'll just buy a new kit then

About replacing the boots...do you think you really need that $80 tool? I guess after pressing in and out a couple boots, removing boots to see the damaged ball joint inside, I just really don't think it would be necessary, but maybe I'm missing something.

OK Schmiddy I found that part for a little bit cheaper online:
$162 from Honda-parts.net
I still may pass on this, but I do have a fettish for expensive tools in my tool box
I'll swing by Napa today
But I thought I'd post this info for others.
Anyone in Chicagoland willing to lend me a hand on ripping my suspesion apart, my trunk monkey ran away and my wife refuses to let me buy another unreliable Gibbon.......
I like working with a buddy, then someone can jack the car back up when slips off the stands falls on top of you......

I'm not sure that MapQuest includes or even gives you the option to fairy over Lake MI options either, that would lower the mileage. Hey if you're serious you are more then welcome to crash at our place for a weekend visit. We have a guest room

Yeah, I know what you mean about working with a friend, it's a lot less boring. And I like having someone to thread the nuts on the topmount as you stick it up through the shock tower, and also someone to step on the spindle to give you that last coupe cm to pull the spring/shock assembly out...makes it a bit easier.
I'd be there for ya buddy...cause I still owe you for the TL-S wheel hookup, but it's a bit far for me.
