Is there any information available about adding daytime running lights, like the Canadian models have, to a US 99 Accord LX 4?

Do i need to get a puller and repack bearings or is does the rotor just slide on and off once I remove the caliper?

I can't find a stinking manual in any of the parts stores. They stock through 98.
Since you are new, I'll give you break and try to help, but yeah, it's probably been covered before and could be found by searching.

There is no need for a puller and you don't mess with the bearings. Remove the caliper and there will be two small phillips screws that basically just hold the rotor against the hub for ease of assembly. Beware though...you can easily strip the head, so I would recommend penetrating oil/lube and using an impact driver (10-30bucks) to get them off to prevent stripping. If they do strip and you can't get them out, just drill the heads off and slide the rotor off,you don't really need the screws, they just make it easier to hold the rotor to the hub when re-installing the caliper. It's the lugnuts that really hold the rotor tight.

If you live in the rustbelt like I do, even after you remove the screws the rotor may be stuck onto the hub via rust, etc. You can beat off the rotor from behind usually, but if it's really stuck like one of mine was, I had to buy some bolts that thread down into the rotor and press the rotor off the hub. Don't remember the size and pitch off hand, but just take the new rotor to a hardware store and you can find it if needed.

Thanks!
You're going to have to buy the entire wiring harness. Jschmid can help you with that, he did the same job.

Just a shot in the dark but, would you happen to have the replacement instructions for the rear wheel bearings on a 98 accord lx, 4cyl, 4dr? Or maybe since you have an online Helms, do you have an exploded view of the rear hubs? (if not, just ignore or delete).

Thanks.

I have everything lowaccord. For every vehicle made since like 1980. I have wiring diagrams, I have exploded views, I have detailed maintenance instructions. I have everything Helms has plus TSB reports.

These will all be posted probably tomorrow. Except for cowan...are you kidding? You just pull the thing off. And the link has been posted to see what TSBs are out for your vehicle.

Our internet has been down at work since yesterday.

Thank you very much.
Can you by any chance find anything (drawing etc..) for a clogged AC drain hose on an Accord EX with VTEC?
Some people here gave me a description on how to find it but I can't locate it.
I thought since you have the resources you may be able to find something that can help me locate it and unclog it.
Thanks again.
