How much should a 95 EX with auto transmission get? I can make about 300 miles on a tank. The low fuel light doesn't come on at that point, but the fuel gauge is hovering uncomfortably close to empty.

 

I do it myself when it's warm out and take it to Valvoline when it's cold out. If you bring your own filter and oil they charge around $20. Except the last time they overfilled my oil because the "computer" told them it needed 5 quarts...stupid me gave them all 6 quarts of Castrol Syntec that I had just bought on sale. He asked me if I wanted it drained...he showed me the dipstick and it was like an inch too high. Unbelievable. Then they drained it and it was still too high so I made them drain more out and refund the money for the wasted oil...last time I go there. The worst part was that the dumbass rolled his eyes when I asked it to be drained to the perfect fill mark on the dipstick.

Anyway, do it yourself if it's warm and you have ramps or a couple of jacks. It's actually kind of fun to do, except for the mess that changing the filter makes.
