AEM brake pads are ok, and I wouldn't use MM. If you want really good brake pads, you need to get Hawks hps. So far they are way better than other brake pads and have way less dust on the rims. I have brembo blanks and hawk pads.

I'm assuming you have used the AEM pads w/the brembo blanks as well????

How much do the Hawk hps pads cost and where can you get em from? Do you have any experience with stainless steel brake lines? Is it a mod worth making on a daily driven Accord?

i have heard it makes a differance in the pedal sensitivity and stiffness... but brakes, no matter what the purpouse, never hurt to be upgraded

I had AEM for a while and I didn't like how they squeaked and the dust on my rims. Hawks are the same price as AEM. Ask Mr.Chad on here, he uses them too and he swears by them. He is the reason why I tried them and now that is the only pad I am going to buy for any car. (I do have an extra set of brand new Hawk pads for and 98 thru? pads, if you want to buy them?) You can get the Hawk pads from tirerack.com or do a search.

SS is a great investment for your car and a lot safer I think. Your stock brake lines on your car get hot and expand not keeping constant pressure causing you to press the brake pedal down a little further which you might not notice because you are use to it. Plus the start to crack and get brittle as the age. SS lines also get hot but since they are wrap in the stainless steel braided shield which barely expands when hot, in which keeping a constant pressure in the lines making the brake pedal feel a lot firmer. I work for an aerospace company and we use ss lines on everything, and we put a lot of pressure on the ss lines, they last forever.

Hmm, my AEM's haven't squeaked since the day I put em on:dunno: And dust, I haven't noticed any obvious problem with that either.

Maybe SS lines would be a good idea, they are relatively cheap and from what I hear, a breeze to install.

I have no dusting with my AEM pads and Brembo slotted rotors. The SS lines from Goodridge were about $150 from tirerack.com. I bought the rotors from them also, The AEM pads are quiet, I've had no noise problems. The feel of the combination is excellent. I can't speak for how other aftermarket pads work. I went to my setup from OEM rotors and pads that had about 70k miles on them. I also put on H&R OE Sport springs and Koni Yellows. This helped the nose dive problem. The overall braking feel is excellent.

Not saying AEM suck or anything really bad about them, they do squeak especially during the winter until the pads warm up and then they stop squeaking. I just notice a lot of dust on my rims when I had AEM compared to the Hawks HPS. AEM are about the same as OEM pads after reading and doing some research. Once you try different setups and you will see a big difference in pads!

But I wouldn't if there would be a difference compared to slotted and blank rotors. If that would make a difference of the dust on the rims?

I'm not saying you're lying or anything like that, but I haven't had the same experience as you with the AEM pads. I have not had a single incident of squealing in the 8 months I've had em on my car, nor has dusting been an issue. Also, I have noticed a huge improvement on stopping power when cold and warm over the oem pads, it's especially more noticeable when cold. The first time I drove my car after putting them on I almost got whiplash cause the grip was so much better.
