Not saying AEM suck or anything really bad about them, they do squeak especially during the winter until the pads warm up and then they stop squeaking. I just notice a lot of dust on my rims when I had AEM compared to the Hawks HPS. AEM are about the same as OEM pads after reading and doing some research. Once you try different setups and you will see a big difference in pads!
But I wouldn't if there would be a difference compared to slotted and blank rotors. If that would make a difference of the dust on the rims?
I'm not saying you're lying or anything like that, but I haven't had the same experience as you with the AEM pads. I have not had a single incident of squealing in the 8 months I've had em on my car, nor has dusting been an issue. Also, I have noticed a huge improvement on stopping power when cold and warm over the oem pads, it's especially more noticeable when cold. The first time I drove my car after putting them on I almost got whiplash cause the grip was so much better.
