SS is a great investment for your car and a lot safer I think. Your stock brake lines on your car get hot and expand not keeping constant pressure causing you to press the brake pedal down a little further which you might not notice because you are use to it. Plus the start to crack and get brittle as the age. SS lines also get hot but since they are wrap in the stainless steel braided shield which barely expands when hot, in which keeping a constant pressure in the lines making the brake pedal feel a lot firmer. I work for an aerospace company and we use ss lines on everything, and we put a lot of pressure on the ss lines, they last forever.
