To tell you the truth, I'm not really too sure when it was alligned last.

I figured they did so when I had it lowered. (But that was like 20k miles ago)

Last year, a drunk driver took off the entire back end when it was parked (over 11k damage). I thought they had it alligned then as well (I hope so). I've only put like 5K on it since then. (Which reminds me, I should post pics of the accident)

I'm wondering whether the accident may be the cause, but it drive fine and looks fine.

I'll get it checked this week and let you all know.

I agree with syclone. It SHOULDN"T be a camber issue. Please tell us what year car u have.

I have a 6th gen 01 and dropped 2"-2.5" (not really sure) and the camber upfront is -0.5 -0.9 while the back is visually horrible ( i don't jave the numbers). My rear is really eating up my tires while the front has no significant inner wear. I would Highly reccomend getting an allignment and ask them to give you a before and after printout of the specs. You will most likely see ur camber is in spec and something else was wrong.

1999 Honda Accord LX 4cyldr coupe.
Eibach Sportline 1.75" Springs
Stock Struts
No Camber Kits
215/45/17 Rims

Please note that the tires that were damaged were OEM 15"s in the front. The back were fine. (I have just mounted the 17"s this week)

Also, please note note that these springs have been on for 3 or more years with no problems.

Thanks your help.

i'll bet that it's simply your toe is out of wack.. you should get an alignment. with the inner part being as worn, you probably have toe out.
Edit( I have a 5th gen) Do not know about any others.
Pfftt. I have 1.5 and my front needs a camber kit bad. The whole inside of both front tires are just dissappearing. Maybe the back doesn't need camber till 2 inches but the front does.

Thats true, but its still gonna cost 160 a side for camber kit, and 290 a pair for tires. So its going to cost about 800 bucks to fix my problem now. gonna have to sell my body on the black market to have enough money to fix my car.

So, I brought my car into NTB (now owned by Tire Kingdom) last weekend.

They did an allignment check and the readings showed camber in the front to be fine (I think it was -1.0). The only thing out of wack was the Toe on the back left (I think .40). I had them do the allignment just in case.

He said the everything looked fine and he was suprised my the heavy inner wear in the front on my OEM 15s. He said that camber kits would be unnessary.

I guess all I can do is monitor the wear and rotate and allign very, very often.

P.S. I'm not really a noob , I used to be on the board under a different name (as early as '99). For some reason, I couldn't get that old account to post threads.

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP.

1.5 isn't bad.. i think you got it backwards.. the back cambers as soon as you start lowering.. the front cambers slower.. what's your suspension setup and wheels/tires?

Have your oem 15's ever seen a different car or bad allignment? Its possible that if they were previously on a screwed up suspension they could have developed a bad wear pattern. This pattern can continue even after the problem is fixed, so i heard.

syclone: can you give us some allignment specs for the 6th gen. It seems like you know a lot about this stuff. Also if you can give justification for the values it would be a great learning experiance.
