Your opinions please
Im painting some of the interior pieces in my car, I was going to use glossy paint but I'm out. All I have is flat paint and clear coat. Should I paint the pieces flat and call it a day or flat w/clear coat? All im doing is the defroster vents on the dash and the door handle trim, they are going to be black just to accent my grey interior a bit. How do you think I should paint them?
thanks to all 10 of you that viewed who replied, your help made me make the right decision when I chose to paint the pieces w/hi temp flat black paint, it has the same luster as the original piece so it's a good match. If I had a digi cam i'd post pics but I don't so I wont.
Well, now that im looking at them again, im kinda thinking about putting some clear on em. I don't know, still kinda undecided. I mean, w/just the trim of the door handles painted, it looks sweet, nobody will know they didn't come like that unless I tell them or if they just know about honda's. I think a gloss or semi-gloss would stand out more, be more of a contrast w/the rest of the handle but I think I can live with it as is, for now at least
