I think you need to stop running around asking questions about things that are simply not worth it. It would obviously take more money than you have to fab any type of work in order to get the s2k drivetrain to work in your car. I would take it and sell it and then come back here and a few other honda sites, read up on how to make a accord faster and then go out on a spending spree. It sounds like you are excited which is cool but it also sounds like you are about to make snap decisions which could possibly make you go broke.....slow down homie.

Actually, I do have enough money to purchase this engine and have it installed in my car... the only thing I was asking was would this work, I thought it would be simple enough to ask a question, get answers, make a decision. I am going to buy the engine and tranny and try to make some extra cash off it. Then, I am going to try to get my cars performance where I want it to be. I have about 9500.00 to get it there and all I was asking was since this engine wouldn't work what would. I just want an engine that I can build up possibly add a turbo, supercharger, and or some juice. I was simply asking for advise on which way to go from here I thought that was easy enough. So if anyone can tell me what will fit my needs I would appreciate it.

S2000's use the K20 motor. also you would have to tub out your car for the driveline which sounds simple but thats alot of fab work. You could not use the f22 tranny bolt pattern isnt the same and could not handle it if it were. If I were you and was going to do this kind of work, I would leave the front suspension the way it is and run a WRX all-wheel drive tranny under your car, then not only would you have a S2000 accord but an all-wheel drive S2000 accord. Dream on hope this helps!

???? :eh:

the S2K used the F20C. there are two versions of the K20, one for the RSX-S and the other for the RSX/ Si. they are not used in the RSX. Hmm a WRX AWD mated to a K20 or a F20C...you need torque in AWD cars and neither motor has enough even if you could make it work.

for the amount of money and trouble this is worth you can have a STi which is a hell of alot better in the long run.seriuosly some of you peoples ideas are just totally ridiculous. :screwy: :slap:

if it's a $1000 for the swap. buy it.

put it up on ebay and make money off the deal.

you can not swap it in without a lot of custom fabrication. simple as that.

if you do have 9500. don't waste money modifying an accord. put a down payment on an s2k then. you'll get the whole car. which is better in everyway from sunday.

throw some logic at a problem and you somehow get a solution....
