This thread is starting to run rapant with stupid ideas. I've seen an f20c put into a Civic hatch, but there is not telling how much money was spent on that swap. Like stated above, buy the s2k and part the engine and the aftermarket parts from it(be sure to keep the HID's for yourself) and then put that $$ in your accord, and make it sick beast.

I have about 9500.00 to get it there and all I was asking was since this engine wouldn't work what would. I just want an engine that I can build up possibly add a turbo, supercharger, and or some juice. I was simply asking for advise on which way to go from here I thought that was easy enough. So if anyone can tell me what will fit my needs I would appreciate it.

The nose of your accord will need to be extended.
Your firewall will need to be pushed back a bit since the drivetrain is RWD.
You will need to convert your whole car to RWD. Rear Differentials etc.....

Maybe it can be done, maybe it can't.
All it takes is the benjamins and a good mechanic and see if it can be done.

Trust me all you need is cash to get things done.

My 98 VW GTI vr6 turbo is only front wheel drive.
Well now, its an AWD car. Even before they came out with the R32. ( STOCK AWD GTI )

its amazing how Audi and VW are similar.

so your willing to spend all that money to get your car up to roughly 240 to the crank and that's at 8000-9000RPMs? I agree with Accordsleeper, get an STi. you'll have all the power you want, and no worry about any fabrication. If you want to stay honda/acura then get an S2000 or an 04 TL.

A while back there was a rear drive 92 accord on ebay with a chevy V8 in it. It was totally for drag racing tho.

Thanks to everyone for the info, good and bad. I really do like my car just want to make it haul ass. I don't want an STi either I just want to build this car. It's paid for, it's a good car, it's only got 40k on it and I wanted to make it nicer.

04 TL's are nice but don't want a payment.

you could spend $20k into an accord and it's still a honda accord. i suggest you just turbo the motor. i think you would be very happy with the results.
