Shite starter might be going out
Took a while to turn over and start tonight after I got off work. Its either that or the battery is low because of a short somewhere. I know its not the battery dying because the battery is less than a year old. Guess I'll find out in the morning.
autozone can check your battery and charging system for free... that can help troubleshoot the problem. If there is a problem with the alternator or somewhere else in the charging system, it will not keep the battery fully charged, making the car hard to start.

If the car is turning over then it probably is not the battery nor the alternator, because the battery is getting the power to crank and eventually turn over. Problems like this could be any of a group of items that is causing your car to be sluggish turning over. Could be low on oil, you could need a new fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, etc... Fortunately if it is any of these that is causing it, then they are simple and inexpensive solutions.

Unuaslly cold, below freezing?... Then another possibility is if your gas tank was not full is that sometimes condesation can form in your gas tank ---> fuel pump and if it was below freezing causing the condensation to freeze and clog your pump from getting the proper fuel needed to start it right away. If this problem only happend just this time then it is a possibility. Heet makes an additive that you can pour into your gas tank to solve that problem if you think that is the case.
