rear springs making noise problem

i have pro kits and kyb agx on a 5th gen. No, its not your shocks, its definitely the springs. The ones in the rear have a certain part of the spring that are dead coils. So they clank when they hit a bump. Mine do that as well. Call Eibach up and tell them and they'll send you some tubing that you can slide up along the springs. I have the tubing but got too lazy to put it on....so i just live with the clank....i bear with it.

cool thanx for the reply before i taking the stock shocks out . is it just the same plastic spiral tubes as we have in our engine bay? i still don't understand how they work to reduce the clanking noise.:dunno:

its corugated wire tubing, from the lowes. Go buy some. Yes same stuff as the engine bay

from what i understand, its like a cushion between the coils of the spring so that they won't hit each other to make the clank sound you hear.
