Get some plastic polish. There are some that come in kits of 3, super aggressive, medium agressive, and light agressive (abrassion level). Start with the least aggressive and see if that gets them all out, then move to the next level of abrassion. If you end up using the most agressive of the 3, then polish them with the medium, and the light. Polishing is not like waxing, you have to "work" the product more. Essentially, you're levelling the surface to the level of the pits. Of course, nothing will make it 100% new, but with some work you can get them looking good again.

You should be able to find the Meguiars locally.

If you can find Novus, it's suppose to be one of the best. May not completely get rid of the pitting, but it will make it less noticeable and the lenses will be clearer.http://www.spadepot.com/products/005novus.htm

No problem. I don't guarantee a 100% fix, but it'll make it good enough so you don't have to replace them.

If you have a detail shop near you, they can wet sand(if really needed) and buff and polish the lenses. I've done it many times to many cars(I work at a detailing center) You just have to be careful not to burn the lense(get it too hot).

As a member of Volvo Club of America, I get the IPD newsletter and Rolling magazine from VCOA. Inside is always little goodies that most people overlook.

Here's the plastic lens cleaner and polish IPD has. I've used it before on my old Plymouth Voyager before I unloaded it on an ususpecting soul:

IPD Plastic Lens Polish and Cleaner

Works well on old early 90s Eclipses too.

Made by Meguiar's.
