Every 2 years or so they change the tail-lights while the headlights stay the same. Honda makes subtle changes within the years to make it look a tad different. Just look at Civics and Integras, they do almost the same thing. Very subtle

90-91 for example has red on bottom and amber on top. Sedans and Coupes had the same tail-lights.
92-93 red is on top, amber on bottom. Sedans and Coupes differ.

94-95 is a single piece tail-light (sedan and coupe are same)
96-97 is a double piece tail-light ( sedan and coupe are same)

98-00(Sedans) is pink and red
01-02 is red/clear

98-02 Coupes stayed all red 3 piece tail lights. This is the year where they changed the styling of the coupes to make it more sportier so the tail-lights HAD to be changed.

Still think the 4th gen v2 tail sedan tail lights are the best......then again i'm biased.

why are the 92-93's and the 6th gen's the only ones where the coupe tails differ...i mean...6th gen kinda makes sense...pretty diff from sedan/coupe...but our 92-93's aren't really...just makes them produce more parts/molds and kept us from aftermarket tails (which doesn't really bother me any more cuz i customed)...but just wondering
