Default 5th gen headlamps

does anyone know if there is a way to get the glass front off of the headlamp without breaking the plastic. i just got a new one because my old one was busted, so i was going to tint the inside black to see how it would look. i put it in the oven, and melted the glue, but when i tryed to pry it apart as you do with 6th gen headlamps, the plastic just cracks and breaks rather than bends to let the glass lose. is there another way to go about getting inside it, has anyone ever done it?

How hot was the oven? I think that CivicSiRacer did this to his headlights, so he might be able to help you on this one...
