Default Alignment Question???

Recently took my bone stock 95 coupe in for an oil change and tire rotation. Once I left and got on the highway I noticed that its pulling way to the right. I had this problem in the past but had it fixed years ago. My question is what would a simple tire rotation due to bring the problem back? Tire Pressure? Un-even tire wear?

I couldn't bring the car back becuase they were closing when I picked up the car, I plan on calling the shop that did the work tomorrow but I wanted to know if they should be messing with anything that affects my alignment.

TIA,

SG

If the change was right after the alignment, it's probably the alignment wasn't done right. But yeah, I'd check the tire pressure just to make sure first.

Word, I'd say it was probably something the shop did. Another thing to do is to ask them to double check the torque specs on the lug nuts. Sometimes shops really dont give a crap and either overtighten the lugs or undertighten them which throws things off and could be dangerous.

Default Update!!

Well the next morning I called them and let them know what was wrong, the guy said he remember me and the car and he said it could be uneven wear on the tires and that he would switch the 2 front tires and that should make up for the pull.

So I play along and go in for the switch, an hour later he calls me up saying that there is another problem. "Do I look like a sucker" must have been on my head so i decided to play the game, He said that overall the 2 tires that were moved to the front have reached the wear indicator, so we checked and I concured, so what's causing the pull I said? He switched the 2 tires on the front end and took it for a test drive and the thing shook like crazy. Come to find out my left front is broken as he called it. Which in English is one of the belts in my tire is broken therefore causing the shaking.

Then came the I can get you into a new set of tires for 450 installed today. I politely said no thanks and I'll call you later.

Took the car to sears where I originally had the set of 4 installed and asked about a warranty, guy said he would take care of the one that was "broken" and cut me a deal on some sumo's for either just the other front or all depending on if I fall inside my warranty. I didn't have my car with me at the time but I think I'll fall under the warranty. The guy at sears doesn't work again till Wednesday so I'll be going back then to talk to him about it.

I'm still not sure about this whole "broken tire" thing, anybody else ever heard of this, is it really a broken belt in the tire? Am I safe driving the damn thing? I've slowed down for sure but I have a daughter that I drive around with me during the day and I don't want to risk anything with her in the car!!!!
