New pics of my 5th gen......
nice work put into it but it's not really my style...but that's just me... but if it was mine.. i would probably leave the car one color, take off the spoiler, cover up the holes on the rear bumper, take off the socks on brake fluid holder, take out the big tach since you already have a tach, hmm i like the engine and the trunk setup. btw did you get that monitor setup on ebay?
Alright here is the way to win shows with this car, it has a lot of potential. Do a taillight conversion, scores a lot of points, looks better, and gets rid of your altezzas. Next, do a headlight conversion, i think yours look cool but again many points and better looking because it would be hard to tell what car it is if you go all out. Then, please please please finish something your start, why tweed very little? Basically what i am saying is tweed your entire dash and door panels. Right there is a really good start on beginning to win some shows, from there on it's cleaning it up and scoring more points with things like opening everything, mirrors under wheels with 1 or all the wheels off at the show, etc. etc. Lose the rear bumber also because this is not a race car
! Then please for god sake sell those fenders, get fiberglass z3s, mold them to your front bumper along with molding the rest of yoru kit and get the car painted nicely. Mismatching other than a carbon fiber hood is not nice looking, even if they are carbon fiber fenders.

I don't care for winning shows that way. The whole headlight/tailight swap theme is getting way too played out. I understand what you are saying though. The tweed on the other hand, I ran out of material, otherwise I would have done everything. I am having trouble finding a material shop that carries the same exact tweed. The tweed was left over from a friend's project, a while ago, and since then, the shop he got it at went out of business. The molding of the front fenders is another thing I truly hate seeing. I don't think it looks good at all, even though it clean up the body lines. I am much smarter than that. I wouldn't want to have to crack the bumper off every time I needed to, say, mess with an intercooler, or change a headlight, or something.... If your car isn't a trailer queen, I think that molding bumpers is the dumbest thing you could ever do. It costs you way too much in the long run, and doesn't last.
Thanks for the ideas, but that's why I don't compete in the import circuit.
