becuz a f-series has a lower rating of hp and would need more boost or modifications to reach as high as a h-series. but u do save around 700bux from buying a f-series over a h.

You want the best way to get 300hp out of an Accord? Buy an '04 six speed. Stock the J30 has 240hp. A typical I/H/E should put you very, very close.

that is not true

F23A1 or 4 - 9.3:1
F23A5 - 8.8:1
H23 - 9.8:1
JDM H22 - 10.6:1
USDM H22 - 10:1
JDM H22 Type-S - 11:1
F22 - 8.8:1

while the B18C5 (Integra Type-R) motor has 10.2:1 and the JDM Type-R motor has 10.6:1. just giving them for comparison. please dont ask about putting them in an Accord. its stupid

:werd:

Or you can get an 03 auto V6...

No headers on it though...intake/exhaust/j-pipe when Comptech finally comes out with it, and a little VAFC tuning should put you over 300. A guy on V6P with intake/cat back/VAFC pulled 240 at the wheels, and seeing how restrictive the exhaust is, I wouldn't be surprised to see a J-Pipe net 25-30whp. That would put you at about 265-270 at the wheels, and over 300hp at the crank.

hmm so going type-s would be the way to start off with engine wise but going more than I/E/H is needed? how much is that 03 v6 you speak of?

Type S is the engine a lot of people look into at first...then after seeing the price it goes for most people either get the USDM or standard JDM motor...a lot of times it can be up to 1000 dollar difference

The Type-S is right in the middle of stock H22 and being fully built. My guess with a Type-S you would hit mid 14's all day in a accord. The compression ratio is 11:1 while the stock is 10.6:1 while a fully built one would be 11:5 and up.

I would skip the Type-S as if you are looking for 300hp you will not find it with that motor. The only value I find it if you are going to rip it apart is to sell the pistons and cams etc.
