Just a quick question. What is the best upgrade to do to a stock B16A2? Don't want trouble of turbo or Nitrous, but want rough tough horsepower. Let me know, thanks!

One question for y'all. I have D16Z from my 1995 honda civic EX. It's Vtec but seized up a few months ago. Swapped a B16A2 but trying to decide the fate of my old motor. Build it up? is it worth it?

Rough tough? Then you gotta boost. You are not going to get any significant gains with exhaust, intake and headers. Supercharge or turbo is the only way to go.

As far as the other motor sell it.

The only rough and tough horsepower is Forced Induction. Bolt ons like exhaust, header, intake will give squat hp numbers. You gotta go supercharger or turbo route.

And about your other motor just sell it.

A) get a old engine from the salvage yard and get it rebuilt or
B) just order a rebuilt engine
which would be better to have if it makes a difference

Also if there is any one in the NY area that can do the swap for me pm me
Wouldn't it be cheaper to get the noise checked out first?

Well it would be cheaper to get the noise checked out (maybe even free or could just be spark plugs) then buying a new engine. Common sense.

It's very easy.

First take off your shift knob. There are like 3 bolts on each side of the console. Take those off. Then the console should just lift up. The rest is straight forward.
