i'd like to see anyone modify an srt-4 to do that. btw, those cars kinda suck anyways....that hatch was pushing like 26-30lbs and the guy i was talking to told me that they didn't have to rebuild the motor this year....like that's an accomplishment!! haha!! also, stock vs stock, they're no match, obviously (we've made that clear), however, modded vs modded...could get interesting.

i think ive already heard people getting the srt into the 13's which is pretty impressive. i know first hand that it has traction problems but once it grabs the car is gone. my friend took out my other friends srt in his stook with about 2-3 cars in the end. but the kid with the srt had a horrible launch and a shitty 1-2 shift, while my friend with the s2000 did a 7500 rpm clutch dump and knows how to shift.

everyone can hate on it for being a dodge, but your getting a whole lot for 20k including a warranty. something you dont get on a turbocharged civicn

You are right...but 6 years behind. Bad case of gaskets in normal use of the econbox was up on late 1997.

Sorry. You just want to say that to feel good. My bad.

I couldn't agree more. Check the low 8s drag. That is pushing about 1250whp. The other one has oem block, head, crank is also there too. I think that is around ~1000whp already (at 800whp it was in low 9s.).

Stage 3 for the production SRT-4 should probably be in the mid to low 12s, full interior. Owners would not stop there and try their best to get to some lower runs.

The version in Onelap has the Stage 1, I believe.

The SRT-4 is one hell of a car to drive. If you push it hard on 1 & 2 gear and not use your head, good luck. Yeah, it's hard to get it going when you floor it in first 3 gears. I could easily spin the tires on third gear.

BTW, Turbo GSR blew the S2000; Turbo GSR blasted by SRT-4...in EUROPE!

as it has been said by many yes you can build a honda to beat an srt-4. take that same 5-10 grand and invest it in the srt-4 and you won't touch it. i still diss on dodge but not on the srt-4 or the srt-10. also the way that people say "it's still a dodge" is the way that bmw and mercedes owner say "it's just a honda". lets be generous and saw that one out of every ten hondas will beat an srt-4. that is still a small ratio. i'm not saying it is a better car in every issue but we are talking about speed here. i have seen driver z rape many a honda on 495, not only that but also a gti which was pushing 20 lbs. of boost. they followed us to the movies and told us about thier mods while they were wondering how a stock srt-4 beat them.

here's a match: stock evo8 vs stock srt-4. by stock i mean NO boost controllers, chips, or anything. even stock tires. THAT would be a good race.
