HONDA Vs SRT-4

Stock FI motors are low compression (often having forged internals) with conservative cams (also no variable valve timing) and restrictive intake/exhausts with fairly small turbos. It is likely that a high compression honda engine with VTEC and decent intake/exhaust would beat it easily when you slap a large turbo on it. Wanna make bets on which will last longer at the same performance level (unless you do it right and spend WAY more money)?

No I wish it was me though.
my friend just got one of those SRT-4s.....even though its a neon, that is one sick car. I'll give it all the credit it deserves, even though I think Dodge makes a crappy product. I'm not sure how it will hold up in the long run, but its an amazing car for the money.
The price for a car like that is amazing in itself. And runs low 14s with crap tires I hear.

my friend bought one too...actually a car that is worth the money man...don't know why everyone bashing on it just cuz its a dodge...for 19000 bucks a car that can do mid 14s to high 14s stock...that is a good deal...
of course a boosted honda could take an SRT-4.. but an SRT-4 is nothing to poop on.. what brand new $20k car can you buy that puts like 250 lbs of tq to the wheels? wut kinda brand new honda can you get with a retail sticker of $20k? a 130 lb/ft civic Si :eh: .. i'm no domestic-lover, but i'm just saying ur comparing apples and oranges.. of course you could beat him with a modded honda, but will it have near 0 miles on the odometer like the SRT-4? no, the SRT-4 is a great value.... pending its reliability
