Default Need Help Please.....

What's up guys....long time no see.
I really need your help regarding my problem:
My 94 civic ex car temperature suddenly went high three days ago....I chek the hood...radiator look OK...no smoke (there is still water inside and in the reservoir)...the Fan is working. The water pump I think still in good condotion cause I bought it new two years ago.
I couldn't figure out what happen....Maybe you guys could help me.
My freinds said maybe the alternator...but I wish that won't be the problem

Thanks

it might be as simple as a bad sensor, hose or fuse.....hopefully nothing more major than that.

Thanks for the respond guys...
Tonight I cheked the engine again...I added little bit more collant to the radiator.....after waiting for more than five minutes the temperature indicator is stable.
Tomorrow morning I'll try to drive the car to the mechanic...it seems like the temp is likely to increase while the car is moving (or maybe while I turn on the a/c), maybe I'm wrong...I'll let you guys know soon

sounds like your thermostat is bad, or stuck. Just go get a new one for 5 bucks, throw it in, and if it didn't fix it, then take it in.

I agree, if anyone has problems with their car warming up... its typically the thermostat... its easy to change, cheap and probably needs to be replaced every so often 3 of 4 cars in my household needed them changed...

I also agree with the thermostat...as for the alternator, I can't see how that would cause overheating necessarily.
