What do you get for gas mileage on average?

Sound like your cooling fan is not working. My fan turns on only at a stand still.

Ahhhhh,

That's what I thought. Try changing your temp sensor. That's what tells the computer how hot the car is and when to turn the fan on and off. It also tells the car when it's warm and when the computer should switch from open loop to closed loop and vise-versa. If it's not working properly, your gas mileage will go to hell and your fan won't come on. I believe it's located in the thermostat housing if I remember correctly.

Good luck.

PS, it won't hurt to check the fuses either.

run some wires from the battery to the fan and see if it turns on

does it come in contact w/ the antifreeze? or is it a sensor that plugs into the housing....

i'll look into the problem tomorrow.. i wouldn't imagine the fan broke.....

right near your oil filter, there is a clip that plugs into the back of the block. Make sure that is hooked up. If not, your fan will never come on. But jsut start your car and let it idle for a while in the driveway. ONce it gets up to temp, if the fan doesn't kick on, you'll know what's up.
