i haven't added in a LONG ass time... and I added probably about 1 1/2 quarts.... then again last time I really did a halfassed job of filling it up.. i just filled up the resevoir tank..... so who knows how long its been

Try to change thermostat 4-6 dollars
Or for me, the third time was to change the radiator cap. I guess the bad one I had didn't keep the pressure going for coolant flow.
