1) I havent had any problems, though mine doesnt hang down or anything without the bolts, it depends on your car and driving I guess.

2) Yes for the high beams. Depending on your skill you might be able to change the projector bulbs out without having to remove the bumper. Most likely you will have to remove the bumper to change them out though.

okay now i'm starting to get worried. -most- indiglo gauges are the kinds that require no needle removal correct? grr

so the bolts in the fender well, the 5-6 screws on top mainly hold the bumper on? the underlining screws are just there to keep it in tact rite?... hmm if this isn't so hard, great way to clean out my CAI

Depends on the size of the hole in the middle of the new guages. If they dont require removal of the needles they will slip right over the existing guages and needles with minimal work.

you must have small hands...the projector bulb is pretty tricky to get to on the driver's side.

Nah on the 5th Gens you can change both bulbs without taking the bumper off. I had projectors on mine and it was easier than changing my 6th Gen bulbs.

Basically what arch iceman described was all perfect

As for indiglos most are overlays and you just slide them over the needles. Just remember that the needles are as easy to break as toothpicks - so don't force them on too hard. The hardest one to put on is the temp/fuel overlays. Just point one needle to 12 o'clock and slide the overlay over the needle, then move the other needle to 12 o'clock and do the same.

when the car is off you can move the needles w/o inflicting any harm right? (very carefully of course)

Just make sure you fill up your gas tank. Cause you will have to put the needle back to FULL.

But yes you can move any of the needles till you get resistance (like past 12 o'clock) on all needles.

I'm pretty sure we installed the projectors on my friend's 95 coupe w/o removing the bumper. Be prepared to be disappointed in the light output, because H3 bulbs really do suck as headlights.
