Use the harnesses, theyre fused inline to keep for burning anything up. Besides they have relays also that let you use high/low beams both at the same time.

As far as light output theyre a little dissapointing. I modified my projectors and took out the shields in the low beams. Light output jumped over 100%, no problems so far, they just constantly look like high beams even after alignment and adjustment.

On a side note, make sure you put back the cross member. Not having this on there will result of sagging of the (OEM) front bumper over time and you will have gaps between the front bumper and headlights. I learned this the hard way.

He probably felt that was a given because in order for you to take off the headlights, you have to slide them forward and on the cross member, there are these plates that prevent you from doing that, hence you have to take off the cross member.

They look that way because you no longer have a sharp cutoff beam pattern. The shield made a cutoff pattern like Integras, and most light was projected below that cutoff.

There really is no way to convert to 9005 bulbs, because the way the bulb mounts in the housing is completely different, and the projector housing itself is smaller diameter than those used in Integras.
