So it begins!!
Just updating...I replaced the clutch kit with an XTD stage 1 clutch, and I replaced the flywheel with one Pat had laying around, just cleaned up the surface. The old flywheel was pretty bad, hot spotted and had small cracks. Finally I can drive my hatch around more and actually be able to shift :chuckles:. I also replaced the clutch master and slave, the master was leaking into the car, and I figured I might as well do the slave because of the mileage. Yesterday I think I may have fixed the water leak, it was coming in thru the blower motor so a attached a bottom part of a coolant bottle the the inlet under the cowl, I haven't tested it to see if it stopped leaking yet but I will. Today I had to take apart my drivers door and rebuild the lock cylinder, it was all corroded and was sqeaking when I turned it. Now its nice and smooth. I still need to get new side mirrors, I'm thinking about getting the spoon style ones.
Well, it was kinda rough to turn and squeaking when turning to unlock. I had to remove the door panel, get behind the plastic lining, pull the clips holding the lock cylinder to the door handle..etc. Once I got it out, I had to take the spring out of the rear of the cylinder. Since I work at a honda dealership the parts were available to me, such as the lock wafers. I had to pull each wafer out, look and see the number on it and find a new one in the kit that we have. I took a wire brush to the cylinder to clean off all of the white corrosion on the inside. I lubed it with this lubricant we have called Power Lube (similar to WD-40), put all of the wafers back in the correct slots on the cylinder and that was that.

And yeah, Patrick is a good dood
